Stop Losing Strategy
Is there a strategy to stop losing to the casino?
When I first thought of writing this article, my first
thoughts were to just have two words on the page on how to stop losing and I'm
sure you can guess what those two words would be. However for those who aren't smart
enough to just "quit gambling", here's the long version of what has helped me on
those days when I didn't have any business gambling but did it anyway.
Betting less is always a good thing when you're losing. I
know it sounds like a no-brainer, but who amongst us hasn't at one time or
another, sought to "get even" by making a few bets at higher stakes. An idea we
almost are always rewarded with further loss of larger amounts of money.
You can't change your luck by buying it. You can however
easily waste away the ammunition you're going to need when that time comes that
your luck has changed. Reduce that by always making a point to cut back your
credit values until such time arrives that you're having better luck.
It is your fault I didn't win more!
That's what I expect to hear from a share of you because
there will of course be exceptions to the rule, always more so in gambling
than most other endeavors because of its very nature. What I am saying
is that you may (and in fact likely will) hit a jackpot which will make you cuss
me because you'll wish you would have had the larger size credit values in
wager.
But before you go too far remember to compare that
you also did not lose near as much back to the casino before you hit that win.
Meaning if you were playing at one dollar and cut back to half, then it is all
proportionate.
And this brings me to the main point of this article. And
the main part of any strategy concerning playing the slots. You MUST be in to
win.
If you ran out of money before
the cycle came back around,
by that meaning that when you play slots you lose first, then win some, then
lose some back, etc. Back and forth it goes while continually slightly returning
less and less as each cycle passes.
The trick of course is to have the will power to make
yourself get out while just after a big win, while riding the high end of
the cycle.
But if you're not playing then you can't win, of course. So
while I encourage cutting back your credit values when on a losing streak, it is
paramount that you do so if you are on a limited bank roll because you simply
won't be around to catch that next win because you're bank roll will have played
out long before that happens.
