Its always a good idea to
set goals when playing online because of the fact that the games are so
readily handy you can easily find you've went much further into your
bankroll than you had expected, and when that happens I can almost
guarantee you its not going to be so easy to fix.
So say you've recently won
a nice jackpot and your account is flush with money. The last thing
you want to do is to go in and give it all back in one day. But that
is easy to do IF you don't set goals before you play and then make yourself
stick to the goals you set. This is what sets a successful gambler
apart from one that just "gets to hold the money for a while".
A favorite thing I like to
do when I am winning is to set "not below" marks which increase with my
wins. For example, lets say I started out with $400 in my account. I set a
"not below" mark before I even make my first spin. For today's example we'll
use $300 as my beginning "not below" mark.
Lets say I hit a jackpot of
$700. Add that to what I had left after the amount of spins it took me to
hit that $700, and lets say I now have $1,050. I will then move my
"not below" mark up to .... lets say $700. That gives a healthy amount to
play on, and I'm guaranteed to quit with $300 more than I started with. Not
bad huh?
I will use the remaining
balance, my "play on" money, in the manner I spoke of earlier.
The only difference may be that I now can afford to up my credit value more
often. But keep track of where you are at and be careful not to give it all
back to the casino in too fast a manner.
