Random Number Generator
The random number generator is a
computer program originally designed for video poker machines found
in land casinos way back before online casinos existed. It basically
takes all the possible results for that particular game, originally
video poker, and rotates them on a list that could best be described
as if you had ten possible game results, one being the jackpot,
three returning even money and the remaining six being losers ...
and put all of those results each one separately on a casino chip
... so that there were ten of them ... and put them in a hat ... and
allowed someone to draw one chip from the hat ... that would be
similar to how a random number generator works.
The only difference being that the
RNG scrolls through the list of possible game results at a speed of
thousands of times a second and then it randomly throws out a result
when requested.
I know its hard to understand ...
or perhaps better said, comprehend that a random number generator
computer program can run through a list of literally thousands of
possible result choices at that speed and be able to randomly throw
out a result to match the instant that a game result is requested
but this is a time-proven method that existed before online casinos.
It has passed every test by every regulation committee including
those in Nevada and Atlantic City.
| These are personal observations
which I offer only for consideration. Do not go out and bet the farm
based on this information. It simply is what seems to work best for
me. You should never go risk your money on any system or approach
for gambling that you have not seen proven to yourself, for
yourself. This is best accomplished by playing for free at one of
the online casinos I list. (see right column). |
