We've talked a little about finding new slot games and I have provided
some ideas on where to find the best choice for them but here's one more, this
is on a more personal level as it's my own
jackpots section
where I show the games where I've had some nice
wins. You'll note I pretty much stick to one game and that is because I seem to
win more often playing it than any other.
Trust me I have tried more than the games you see most
often in my pictures but I always come back to "Break Da Bank" and "Reelin'
in the cash" and "Ladies Night" as being the
slot games I feel I've the best
chance at winning because they fit my style, budget and most importantly ..
I win a lot more often when I play them. There are other games which I see
often on the winner's lists and I've played and won some nice jackpots on them
(I may not have taken a picture of the win) but these are the ones that work best for me.
That said, I'm currently looking for a new slot
game to take the place of "Reelin' in the cash", man I loved
that slot game because like the casinos listed here on this site, it
too allowed you to change credit values from as little as ten cents
to as much as five dollars (depending on where you played it). It
seemed to be one of the most predictable slot machines I have
ever played but it might be better said I was more in tune with
it than others. :)
In any case I need to find a few new slot
games that I like enough to become an old favorites because
everybody should have several different games they play so if
one is not treating them right they can move to another without
delay or hesitation.
Here's another tip on choosing a new slot game.
Often times when slot games are just released the casinos will have
their payout percentage hedged just a little bit so the machine gets
a favorable review from the word of mouth grapevine which inevitably
filters back to those who write reviews about the games and I know
for myself I very much value the input I receive from other players
about a particular game. Especially when it is a new release.
I also am a big fan of switching to video poker ...
straight jacks or better ... keep it simple and in the case of video poker
learn one version well and stick to it ... the payout for a royal
flush is 4000 on a 5 credit bet. Pretty nice jackpot.
| These are personal observations
which I offer only for consideration. Do not go out and bet the farm
based on this information. It simply is what seems to work best for
me. You should never go risk your money on any system or approach
for gambling that you have not seen proven to yourself, for
yourself. This is best accomplished by playing for free at one of
the online casinos I list. (see right column). |
I know the game can be boring but it allows you to change
up when things aren't working for you in the slots and in most cases you'll
spend a lot of time without losing (or gaining) a whole lot. Meaning
its a good way to kill some time until you feel lucky again. Plus it really
is a good way to bump those comp points though it might be that casinos
don't give as many "reward for play" points for video poker as for slots.
Mental note to ask next time I'm near the horse's mouth.
Okay enough on video poker and choosing new slot games. Lets move on.
Oh one last thing about video poker in respect to spending a lot
of time not really winning or losing anything. The great thing
about video poker is that while you may not see much of an
increase or decrease in bank roll, you still are every time you
play another hand ... in the running to hit the Royal Flush
which will put nearly any slot payout to shame.
